Okay guys I have a proposal, I think we need new forums, but I think that because of our fan loyalty that all the main posters, like Hacker, JT, Lou-igi, maybe me and other guys who have been around for a while and are frequent posters. Just a thought. though we kinda do need new forums lol, although we could change the url, or is that not possible on aceboard?

well all the new listners dont want to talk in an ac forum, u gotta look at the whole perspective.

We can always just make an extra area on these forums for that if you want.

I completely agree. I mean, There are only 2 areas with new posts, this place has been dead. Don't know what to do about it.I really like the forum layout of www.theoriginalgathering.com  and you get badges and stuff, it's more high tech, and gets you involved in everything, there is even sections for different languages. We could really bridge the gaps in so many areas. Give it a looksee, you don't have to join.
Sk8ter, could you produce somehting like that, or could Gemini and myself set something up like it? But instead of a Castelvania feel, we could maybe go... Like a zombie or shooter feel. Tell me what YOU GUYS WANT. And Yes I do think this Uncanny gamers thing is going to take off. We juat need your help in doing so.

I would be willing to help out. I know some basics in HTML and bits and pieces of other stuff,so if get the time I could help out with stuff. I also think we should buy a domain like set up a paypal and then everyone could like donate 5 bucks to help pay for it. I do like the layout for the origional gaming cast as well, and I also love the Podtacular forums too. check those out!

Just a thought. If we get new forums, i doubt you can keep your post count, but think of the other cool things we could have, like badges and levels, like post 1-50 your just a boil, then the next level you could be a tumor. I dunno, silly stuff. It's hard to change, but we're trying to change for the better and make it a funner, more interesting experience.

I like the idea of new forums. Animal Crossing Friends has evolved so we should all evolve with it.

500th post lol i could care less about post count but that is just me, we should have a community poll, but I am willing to help out with anything, I would like to become a mod but that probably won't happen.

Okay, time for Hacker's two cents:

• Gemini and Phoenix have diversified what their podcast is (officially) about. It's not about Animal Crossing anymore, and that's been as much of a handicap to their number of listeners as wheelchair-bound is a handicap to a baby. If they are going through with this, it's time to abandon ACFriends; that includes the website and the forums. Of course they shouldn't forget their roots, but we saw what happened to ACFriends and the number of episodes released monthly (or tri-monthly) after Animal Crossing: Wild World had its fifteen minutes of fame. The same thing will happen after the City Folk hype dies down.
  

• ACFriends.aceboard.com has got to go. Africansk8er has done a great job maintaining it all these years (wow, years), but it's time to move on. Also, the colors need to be rethought. No more of this green monochrome stuff. It's great and a lot better of a job than I could have done, but there's a reason why it's such a nice breath of fresh air whenever the colors are changed.
  

• I think Phoenix is right in that the forums have so much potential and should be a little more interactive. I was once a member of a site called GameTalk (no relation to that other podcast Gemini's involved with), and it was basically forums with bells and whistles, like being able to throw pies at each other. It also had tools in which someone could de-vowel someone's post. Of course, there were tools to re-vowel someone's post (and the de-voweling tools were very expensive), but suffice it to say it was a lot of fun. However, I know I could never do something like that and I don't think Africansk8er will be up to the task either. I like the different ranks of boil and tumor though.

Being wheelchair-bound is no handicap to a baby if the baby is muscular enough, as all babies should be pumped with steroids whilst still in the womb.  

This way there would be no difficult births; the baby would just punch its way through the uterus, past the stomach and burst out from the mother's belly, Alien style, plonking itself straight into a souped up jet-black wheelchair ready for its first meal of steak and rusks.
